About

My name is Adam.  I'd like to say that I am a modern renaissance man (at least that is what I aspire to be) currently attending the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU.  I have a degree in biology, but am also interested in food, music, the arts, business, urban planning, sustainability, and politics.

The name Downtown in a Suburb is derived from the residence I currently share with my wife in Provo, Utah.  Provo and the surrounding area is a primarily suburban community, but we live in the city's "historical downtown" in a mansion built in 1898 that has been partitioned off into tiny apartments.  We love it here, and while we don't know yet where we'll end up after law school, we hope to settle down in a place with similar charm and character.

In the mean time, I'll be writing about a variety of topics that interest me while living Downtown in a Suburb.
